Faculty of Architecture & Regional Planning, Indian Institute of Technology was established with a vision to create an atmosphere for entrepreneurship and employment in the surrounding areas and to promote creativity and ambition in thinking and doing. Students of Architecture undergo Professional Training as part of their curriculum for 32 Weeks and hence are able to place themselves suitably due to the exposure already gained in India or abroad. The nature of professional practice is such that most of the placements are done by informal interviews.
