Al-Ameen Dental College is a Muslim minority college that was established in the year 1991 by Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust (ACFT). The college had a modest beginning with only 40 students for the course of dentistry. Since then, the college has never looked back and is on the path of success for its excellent academic curriculum and infrastructure facilities. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and Dental Council of India.

Dentistry has always been an evergreen branch in the field of medicine. Keeping this thing in mind, the college imparts a wide range of courses, related to the dentistry. One of the flagship courses offered by the institute is BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). BDS is a five years full time degree course.


Admissions:

Eligibility :

1.).Candidates who have passed the Second pre-University Examination of the Pre-University Education Board, Karnataka or equivalent examination with English as the core subject and with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with 50% of marks and above in optional group.

Or

Has passed the two years intermidiate or equivalent course that of,with science subjects,viz,Physics,Chemisrty and Biology along with English from a recognizes Indian University or Pre-University Intermediate Board.

MDS COURSE

The candidate should be a Graduate in Medicine (BDS) from any University recognised by the Medical Council of India.

The Candidate should have completed satisfactorily the Rotating compulsory Internship of one year in an Institution recognised by the Dental Council of India )

The Candidate should have obtained permanent Registration of any State Dental Council.

No candidate shall be admitted for any postgraduate degree/diploma course unless the candidate has obtained and produced the eligibility certificate issued by the University. The following documents are to be submitted at the time of admission:

1.BDS pass/degree certificate issued by the University.
2. Marks cards of all the university examinations passed BDS Course.
3. Attempt Certificate issued by the Principal.
4. Completion of internship certificate.
5. Any State Dental Council Registration Certificate6.Age proof certificate.
