All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh founded in the year 2012 is a medical college and medical research public university, based in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The Institute operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

It started their operations in September 2012 and there are 50 students in the first batch of the MBBS career. It aim to enhance the reputation of our country by relevant research in medical field, creating clinical excellence and social awareness in young doctors and giving bright minds of Uttrakhand a preference in participation of path breaking research and giving new dimensions to medical science.

For seeking admission students have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the AIIMS itself. Admission is strictly taken on the merit basis only.
