Atal Bihari Vajpayee- IITM is a higher education institute that was established in the year 1997 by the Government of India and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The institute is considered to be one of the best institutes in the country generating highly qualified professionals in the field of Management and Technology. In year 2001, the institute has been awarded with the status of Deemed University.

The institute offers postgraduate programs. This includes Master of Technology (M.Tech) in various information technology fields, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and PhD Apart from this, Management Development Programmes and Faculty Development Programmes are also offered by the institute.

Admissions:

The admission to the various MBA courses are done through the CAT Examination at the National Level.

Candidates short listed on the basis of the written examination are given a chance to display their skills and abilities in a group discussion and an interview, where a final screening is done.



Facilities:

ABV-IITM is spread over a huge area of 160 acres of land amidst the lush green foothills of Gwalior Fort. It is a fully residential campus with the faculty and students residing at the campus. It has a wide variety of buildings and blocks with Academic block houses Lecture Theaters, Seminar halls, library, laboratories and Faculty offices, administrative block, open ampi-theatre, indoor sports complex and separate hostel facility for boys and girls. There are three hostels for boys with 300 students in each and two hostels for girls, 150 students in each. The institute also has a digital library and reading rooms. The library hosts a collection of over 12000 books, periodicals and journals.
