A D Patel Institute of Technology is one of the self- financing engineering colleges in Gujarat that was established in year 2000 by Charutar vidya mandal, a charitable trust. The institute is sprawled over an area of 40 acres of land in the city of Karamsad.
Being affiliated to Sardar Patel University, the college offers a wide variety of undergraduate technical courses such as Automobile engineering, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Food processing technology, Information technology and Mechanical engineering. The intake capacity for the students in each course is 60 with the duration of four years.
To get an admission to the institute, the candidates should have passed 12th STD with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Moreover, the suitable candidates should have secured adequate marks in All India Engineering Entrance Examination i.e. (AIEEE).
It features well maintained campus that has high-quality science labs, books and computer library, conference halls and contemporary class rooms. For the convenient of the students, the campus also offers hostel, bus service and Bank/ATM facilities.
