Eligibility:-
Candidates applying for admission to the 2-year full time MBA must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s degree programme after 12 years of formal schooling. The minimum requisite percentage of marks (in aggregate) in different disciplines; Arts, Commerce or Social Science 50%; Sciences 55%; Mathematics or Statistics 60%; Medicine, Engineering or Technology 60%/CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00 or Post Graduate degree or 2nd degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s/post-graduate degree examination may also apply

Applications can be filled online at www.fms.edu, by paying the requisite fee of Rs.750/- (Rs.200/-for SC/ST/Physically Challenged category) for each programme. DD (if payment is not made online) must be drawn in favour of the “The Registrar, University of Delhi”. Completed forms must reach the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. on or before 30-11-2011.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two year full-time programme. The
course structure and programme administration are as follows:

The programme has been organized in two years – First Year and Second Year, each
comprising two semesters. The list of papers offered during First Year and Second Year

Summer Training
At the end of second semester, all students will have to undergo summer training of 8-10
weeks with an industrial, business or service organization by taking up a project study.
The conditions of successfully completing the programme shall not be deemed to have
been satisfied unless a student undergoes summer training under the supervision of the
department in organizations as approved by the Faculty from time to time. Each student
will be required to submit a project report to the Faculty for the work undertaken during
this period within three weeks of the commencement of the third semester for the purpose
of evaluation in the third semester.
SECOND YEAR
During Second Year, in addition to compulsory papers and project studies, a student shall
have to choose six optional papers in third semester and three optional papers in fourth
semester form the list of optional papers announced at the beginning of each semester.
