MA Kannada programme offered by the Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women's University is a 2 year (4 Semesters) programme. 

Eligibility - A Candidate should passed a B.A. degree with Kannada/folk literature as optional subject with 50% of marks in the subject and in aggregate obtained from any recognized university (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST and Cat-I candidates). Candidates with any bachelor’s degree with at least basic Kannada in two years of the programme who satisfy minimum eligibility percentage (50% for GM, 45% OBC and 40% for SC/ST and Cat-I candidates), are also eligible.
