Promoted in the year 1978, Vivekananda Mission School (VMS), Kolkata is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi. The school is a co-educational day school founded by C. G. Chandra, an educationist and social worker. It boasts 3500 students between nursery and class XII.
