Sindhi Model Senior Secondary School was inaugurated by the then Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri K K Shah in 1975. At its inception, the school started functioning with Nursery Sections and Classes I to V, which was upgraded with an inclusion of next three classes by the academic year 1976 -1977. The School was accorded the recognition and affiliation by the CBSE and was elevated to a Senior Secondary School from the academic year 1980 -1981.
Admission form for any of the section will be available in the school office itself. Parents need to collect it between the registration dates decided by the school authority.
Admission is done on the basis of Interviews and written test.
The school is functioning in three elegant and modern four storied buildings and provides necessary accommodation for housing Classes from Pre-KG to Class XII with six fully equipped and adequately furnished laboratories and a library in accordance with the latest regulations and adequate space for Games & Sports and co-curricular activities.
