Salwan Public School (SPS), Rajinder Nagar was founded in the year 1953 by the Salwan Educational Trust, which was founded by Late Pandit Girdhari Lal Salwan. It is a co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Examinations (CBSE), New Delhi.

The school offers a special education program for the visually impaired students and part-time special educators have been engaged for supplementing regular classroom instructions.
 



Admissions:

Admission is done subject to availability of seats, in the desired class.

The students desirous of seeking admission to the school must apply in the month of Feb, on a prescribed form, available at the Reception.

Depending on the vacancies in each class, a written test is conducted accordingly.

Admission is based purely on merit. Recommendation of any kind would disqualify the aspirant from admission.
