Admissions:

After the application form is filled by the pupil/parent, PRANAVA fixes a date and time for a written test. The test is designed to evaluate the learning levels of the child. This is done primarily to decide whether the pupil’s level is commensurate with the class he/she is seeking admission to. After a careful evaluation of the answer sheet, a group of teachers decides to which class the pupils can be admitted. If they find that the child can be admitted to the class he or she applied to, but found that certain areas need to be addressed, they design specific interventions in consultation with the parents.

Admission test is administered not to determine whether a child is worthy of admission or not. But it is intended more for the purpose of offering teachers guidance about the academic levels of the pupil.

Documents Required :-

Parents are required to fill in a prescribed application form. The School will get in touch with them to inform them about a date for the routine evaluation test for the child. Once a decision on the admission of a child is taken in consultation with the parents, the necessary documentation will have to be completed.

Pranava requires the Birth Certificate of the child seeking admission to nursery and pre-primary sections. A photocopy of the certificate can be submitted to the School. But the original needs to be made available for verification.

For higher classes, Transfer Certificate in original has to be submitted to the School’s office. Foreign Passport holders need to submit a photocopy of the document including the pages showing evidence of valid visa.

Children with any special medical requirements should inform the School and submit the medical advice papers. Those with learning disabilities need to inform the school and submit the necessary evaluation reports from a competent medical practitioner.
