Kendriya Vidyalaya was established in the year 1985 in Air Force Station, Chakeri in makeshift barracks. It is being run from the same building even today but with the belief that lack of Infrastructure should not hamper people from attaining good results. Consequently, the school has developed almost all the necessary areas which are found only in big schools.
 


Admissions:
Admissions take place only in KG classes.
 
If there are any possible vacancies in other classes it will be notified in the school office by the end of March every year.
 
Procedure for admissions starts in the month of February every year for the next following academic session.
 
 
 


Facilities:
There are 23 class rooms in this vidyalaya. 3 Science Lab (Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab And a Biology Lab), 2 Computer Labs ,1 library, 1 games room, 1 SUPW room, 1 Music room, 1 Craft room, 1 HM room, 1 Staff room, 2 volley Ball Courts and 1 Basket-Ball Court in this Vidyalaya.
