Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 AFA is run by the KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
 
The Vidyalaya has classes from 1 to 12 with Science stream at 10+2 level and is affiliated to the CBSE and follows the 10+2 pattern of education.
 
It aims to initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education and National Council of Educational Research and Training etc.

Parents who wish to apply for admission should obtain the brochure and application form on payment of admission fees.
 
Children have to meet the stipulated age requirement for admission to School as on June 1st of that year.
