Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu was founded to cater to the educational needs of the children of the service personnel of the Naval establishment. It is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers education from pre-nursery to class XII.
