Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Bhubaneswar was founded in the year 1967 as a small school at unit -1 Boys high school and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. After a year a new campus was constructed at unit-IX. Now the school is a two shift school from 2004. It has got NABET accreditation in 2012–2016 and British Council International School Award in 2013.
 


Admissions:
Parents are requested to submit the duly completed application form along with all relevant documents on or before the stipulated date. 
 
Admission starts in the month of February every year.
