Kendriya Vidyalaya, OFD, Raipur was opened within the set policies of KVS in September 1981 up to class V in a temporary structure provided by Ordnance Factory authorities. In August 1994, the Vidyalaya was shifted to its present campus, that includes the Vidyalaya building and 21 units of residential quarters covering an area of 12 acres of land.

Parents who wish to enroll their children can contact the school office for application forms and further details.
 
All qualified candidates can apply for admission to the school. 
 
Candidates are admitted based on the rules and regulations followed by the school.
 
 
 


Facilities:
KV OFD was declared Model School with all modern amenities and well established infrastructure, working Computer Labs, Audio Visual Room with OHP and LCD Projector, TV, Music System, VCR and well equipped Science Laboratories, SUPW Lab.
