Kendriya Vidyalaya, No. 1, Sri Vijaya Nagar was inaugurated in the year 1974 with an aim to cater the educational needs of the children of the floating population like the employees of central govt. offices, defence/Navy personnel, ex-service men and other transferable employees liable for frequent transfers.

It is a co-educational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is managed by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
 



Admissions:

Registration of Admission enquiries for new Academic year begins from January.

Applications are issued between February and March for new admissions in the school office.
