Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mysore was founded in the year 1993 and is run by the mammoth organization the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It is a co-educational, English medium school, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers education from nursery to class X.

The school aims to initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.

Applications for admission are only issued for LKG and for classes above Ist Std would be subject to available vacancies.
