Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS,High Grounds, Chandigarh was established in the year 1984 under the patronage of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan, New Delhi. The four fold Principles for all round development of the children has been the first and the fore most objective of the Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS, High Grounds, Chandigarh.

There are nearly 1350 students on roll in classes I to XII. It has three section sections in class I to X and three streams in classes XI & XII i.e. Science (Medical & Non-Medical), Commerce& Arts.
 



Admissions:

Admissions take place only in KG classes.

If there are any possible vacancies in other classes it will be notified in the school office by the end of March every year.

Procedure for admissions starts in the month of February every year for the next following academic session.
