Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Mahavidyapeetha sponsored by Jagadguru Sri Virasimhasana Peetha, Suttur, was established in 1951. The school has classes from LKG to X standard and affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It aims to promote total personality development of young persons of this country.

Applications for admission are only issued for LKG and for classes above IstStd would be subject to available vacancies.
 
An admission detail for LKG is announced in the first week of December every year.
