Guwahati Public School, one of the wings of the Assam AdarshaVidyalayaSanstha by virtue of its status and position succeeded to secure affiliation of C.B.S.E. early in 1988 to Secondary Education and Senior Secondary Education in 1992. School aims at the fullest development of the children’s capabilities of head, heart, mind and hand in order to ensure growth of integrated personality and national character with sense of duty and service to the society.
 


Admissions:
Admission Forms and Prospectus are issued in the month of December on Payment of Rs.200/- each.
 
An admission test would be conducted in the following subjects and merit list prepared would be published on the basis of which students are usually admitted. Admission test is usually held in the 2nd week of January.
 


Facilities:
The School provides two Mega R.C.C. buildings on a plot of land of 5 acres for class rooms, Library, Laboratories, Staff rooms and Office rooms.
