The Defence Laboratories School was established in the year 1988, under the initiation of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. The school is managed by the Vidyalaya Management Committee comprising of senior Scientists, drawn from various divisions of RCI. It is a co-educational institution, cosmopolitan in nature and prepares students for the CBSE examination.
 



Admissions:

The School admits the wards of the employees of DRDO, service personnel and DSC people on top priority. However wards of NON-DRDO employees are also given as a social commitment and goodwill gesture.

Admission to Classes I to X are open from February and the Nursery Section form the month of December.
 



Facilities:

The school is situated within the RCI residential complex on a sprawling 12 Acre piece of land in a calm, peaceful, serene, absolutely pollution-free locale.
