Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kunnumpuram started functioning with about 200 students in the year 1980 and is managed by Chinmaya Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust. The school got provisional affiliation to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and offers education to students from Nursery to Class XII.
 


Admissions:
Admission is open to qualified students at all grades/levels from Junior Kindergarten to 11. 
 
It is not normally granted to Grades 10 and 12. 
 
Application for admission must be made to the Principal.
 
The candidate must be presented by one of the parents or local guardian.
 
A student must have completed 4 years for admission to Junior Kinder Garten.
 


Facilities:
The school has excellent facilities with a campus accommodating class rooms, indoor stadium, A.V rooms, labs in different disciplines, a library block, administrative block, etc. It also has sports track, soccer field, basketball and very good facilities for sports and games.
