Bangalore International School is oldest international schools, located in Banglore. The School was established in the year of 1969.This Institute imparts career-oriented education to the students so as to equip them with requisite, qualification and training. It delivers knowledge that develops managerial competencies in students. The Institute is among the best institutions in Banglore and will strive to compete with the best in India in terms of infrastructure and academics. 

Faculty : The School has Highly qualified and well-experienced faculties which mould and mentor the students for their prospective careers the well known faculty are Mrs Shobha Nayar Pandit and Mrs Padmja Murari.



Admissions:

School year is divided into two semesters. The first semester begins in mid-August. We close for Christmas for two weeks between December and January. The second semester runs from January to mid-June, with a two-week Spring Break in April. At BIS we follow a rolling admissions policy where students are enrolled through the academic year, for all grades except Grades 10 and 12. Students are accepted into these two years only if they come from the same academic board and their subject choices align with what our school offers. Children are between the ages of 2.5 and 3 years are eligible for admission to the Pre-Primary. Admission into subsequent grades is determined on the basis of the student's performance. Students are required to take an entrance test in English and Math.
