The Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School is a CBSE school located at Thousand Lights in Chennai. It is recognized as the first Central Board of Secondary Education school in Chennai. The schools holds the cultural event Genesis for the 11th and 12th students, inviting students from other schools in the city to perform in the event.
Admission Process to LKG normally starts in January and is completed in March every year. Admissions to Standard I to XII are conducted during March-May. The admissions are generally based on marks obtained in the previous examinations and performance in the entrance test and interview, wherever applicable.
The School has large open spaces as well as appropriately planned building and providing ample space for outdoor as well as indoor activities. The laboratory is equipped with materials needed to help the students from concept through meaningful and relevant activities.
