Alpha Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai was established by the Alpha Educational Society in the year 1967. The school is affiliated with the Matriculation Board of the Tamil Nadu government. It aims to kindle and foster the academic and artistic creative abilities and talents of students, and encourages them to develop themselves into individuals with character, vision and resourcefulness.



Admissions:

Registration forms will be issued on payment of Rs.300/- at the school office to the father / mother / guardian of the child seeking admission. Registration Forms will not be accepted unless the date of birth of the child is authenticated by Corporation Birth Certificate.

The registration form should be submitted at the school office between 9.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. duly completed and signed within the stipulated date, failing which the application will remain invalid and a fresh application should be taken for registration.

As a part of the admission process for Classes II to IX, students will be called for a written test based on their half-yearly performance. Provisional admission will be granted depending on their performance in the written test.
