Founded in the year 1970, Air Force School Jammu is being run under the aegis of IAF Educational & Cultural Society and is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. The School is co-educational, English medium and runs classes from LKG to 10+2 (Science stream). School aims to provide healthy and sound education in an atmosphere free from inhibitions and prejudices emanating from religious, social or caste distinction.

The admission process commences in the month of January or February.
