To select the students for the further rounds of admission, the official authority will issue the cutoff marks for the students. Only those students will be treated as qualified who will secure marks higher than the cutoff. This term is not new to anyone and the students know that it is the minimum qualifying marks which are released by the official authority of the exam. About the Exam:-
• IPU Common entrance test or commonly called the IPU CET is the leading examination in the country which is usually conducted in the month of May every year.
• This reputed examination is organized by the GGSIPU for the students who wish to enroll in the courses offered by the university.
• Every year, a large number of aspirants take this exam and hence, the level of this exam is still rising.
• To qualify this exam with good percentile, the students will have to do the regular and consistent preparation for the same.
About the Cutoff:-
• The cutoff is basically served as the prime selection criteria for the students which select the candidates for the further rounds of admission.
• If the student fails to cross this benchmark then their entire hardship will get wasted.
• The
IPU CET Cutoff marks 2021 will be announced by the official exam body probably along with the result declaration.
• The exam body will either release the cutoff in the terms of minimum marks or rank as per their selection procedure.
• The students will be placed in the merit list only if they obtain the higher marks than the cutoff.
• The position of the candidate in the merit list will be totally based on the student’s performance in the exam and marks secured by them in the same.
• Basically, the cutoff will be beneficial to limit the number of students for the counselling round.
