The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance (TS EAMCET) 2023 is being conducted by JNT University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University / Private Colleges in the state of Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for TS EAMCET 2023
Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS EAMCET-2023:
a) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizenof India (OCI) Card Holders.
b) Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates shouldsatisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra PradeshEducation Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
c) For Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering)and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Technology (FT) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri& Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses:
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of IntermediateExamination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields ofEngineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education,Telangana / Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it forcandidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any otherexamination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education,Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appearedfor the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics andChemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematicsconducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shallalso be eligible for the Bio-Technology course.

Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma
examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education andTraining, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized asequivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana /A.P.
(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging toreserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.
(iii) In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper agelimit.
(iv) In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FT) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31stDecember of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all thecandidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidatesas on 31st December of the year of Admissions.
d) For B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and forremaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FT) / B.Sc. (CA & BM) Courses:
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination(10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of IntermediateEducation, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with any two / three of the subjects indicated againsteach course noted below: With any two of the subjects:

Note: (1) Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seekingadmission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in TSEAMCET-2023.
(2) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year ofadmission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect ofscheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year ofAdmissions.
e) For B.Pharmacy Course: (Remaining 50% of the seats):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the IntermediateExamination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optionals, conducted by theBoard of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examinationrecognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging toreserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
(iii) Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement ofAdmissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is noupper age limit.
f) For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination(10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted bythe Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examinationrecognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh asequivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diplomaexamination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Boardof Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalentthereto by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education andTraining.
(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging toreserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
(iii) Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year ofadmission to the course.
