Think of post graduate courses in interdisciplinary areas of social work, health,management,development, habitat and climatic science and the first name to come to mind is that of Tata Institute of Social Science. An “A” graded institution TISS has 09 schools and 03 independent centers along with its main Mumbai campus. TISS offers socially relevant M.A. / M.Sc. / M.P.H./ M.H.A. academic programmes. Belieiving that excellence is inculcated through the quality of aspirants enrolling each academic year the institute conducts Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Eligibility Test (TISSNET).

TISSNET 2023 will be conducted as part of admission to full-Time (Regular) Post-Graduate Degree Programmes (M.A., M. Sc., M.H.A., M.P.H.) offered by TISS Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses.

Common eligibility for TISSNET 2023:-
 

a) Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Some Masters Degree programmes will have additional/specific eligibility requirements.

b) Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) by October 31, 2023, are also eligible to apply.

c) Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by October 31, 2023, failing which their provisional admission would stand automatically cancelled without any further reference to the candidate. The onus will be on the candidate to submit the degree/provisional degree and grade/mark sheet by October 31, 2023. No further extension of the date will be allowed under any circumstances.
