State Bank of India is one of the largest and at the same time fastest growing banking enterprises in India. It is the only public sector bank in the country that does not use IBPS exams for conducting recruitment for different posts. Over the years, SBI clerk recruitment have been known to be a bumper affair with an increasing number of candidates being recruited for clerical posts in the bank as well as its associate banks. Moreover its is also one of the most awaited among bank recruitments in India.

 

SBI Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre 2022 -
 
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. 
 
Age Limit (As on 01.08.2022) -

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.08.2022, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). Relaxation of Upper age limit:

OBC - 3 years
PWD (Gen/ EWS) - 10 years
PWD (SC/ ST) - 15 years
PWD (OBC) - 13 years

Essential Academic Qualifications (as on 30.11.2022) -

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.11.2022. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.11.2022.

Signature, Left thumb impression and Hand-writing declaration Image -

The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
Size of file should be between 10 kb – 20 kb
Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20 kb.
Signature uploaded should be of appropriate size and clearly visible.

The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.

Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 3 cm x 3 cm (Width x Height).

The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black ink.

SBI Clerk 2022 Exam Date:-

Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of November 2022

Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of December 2022/January 2023.

SBI Clerk Exam 2022 Pattern:-

The selection process will consist of on-line test (Preliminary & Main exam) and test of specified opted local language.

Phase I - Preliminary Examination - Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Duration - 1 Hour

1. English language English - 30 Qs - 30 marks - 20 min

2. Numerical Ability - 35 Qs - 35 marks - 20 min

3. Reasoning Ability - 35 Qs - 35 marks - 20 min

Total - 100 Qs - 100 marks

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual test OR for aggregate score. Section wise marks will not be maintained.

Phase  II - Main Examination -

Duration - 2 Hr. 40 min.

2. General English English - 40 Qs - 40 marks - 35 min

3. Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Qs - 50 marks - 45 min

4. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude - 50 Qs - 60 marks - 45 min.

Total - 190 Qs - 200  marks

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.


SBI Clerk 2022 Exam Preparation:
 
Preparation for the exam  should start anywhere between three months to year before the exam depending upon the type of study you follow. The best way to prepare is focus on the five segments that form a part of the examination that is English, Quantitative Apptitude, Reasoning ability,Computers and General Banking. Refering to books for subject would be of great help. There is no dearth in terms of books available for reference and study. Most of all solving questions papers of yesteryears would add completeness to preparations for the SBI Clerk Exam.
