Rajasthan MCA Admission Test (RMCAAT) 2016 is a paper-pen based OMR test directed by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota for admission to three year regular Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A) in government and private colleges associated with Rajathan Technical University. Held before the start of the academic year, this entrance test aims to assess the elementary computer awareness, mathematical ability, aptitude and reasoning of aspirants wishing to apply for MCA admission in Rajasthan Technical university. This exam serves as the main MCA entrance in Rajasthan for admission to aided and unaided professional institutes. 
 
Eligibility for RMCAAT 2016:-
 
The Candidate must possess Graduate degree of equivalent from recognized University with mathematics as one subject in 12th / graduation or having BSc (Computer Science) / BSc (IT) / BCA with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non Creamy layer SBC candidates). However, the candidate appearing in the final year Graduate examination will also be permitted to participate in counseling but their admission will be provisional subject to furnishing the mark sheet of qualifying examination before 31st July 2015.

On the basis iof NIMCET 2015 score

Eligible Candidates having valid NIMCET 2015 and Rajasthan Domicile.

Eligible Candidates having valid NIMCET 2015 score & outside Rajasthan state

On the Basis of marks obtained in Graduation (for seats lying vacant in Priority – 1)

Eligible Candidates having Rajasthan State Domicile.

Eligible Candidates and belong to outside Rajasthan state.

Syllabus for RMCAAT 2016 test consists of the following sections namely: 
  • Mathematical ability
  • Elementary Computer Knowledge
  • Reasoning and Aptitude 

RMCAAT 2016 Paper Pattern:- 
  • Duration of exam: 02 hours
  • Total number of questions: 200
  • Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • Marking: one mark for each right answer.
  • Negative marking: No negative marking
  • Sections: 03
  • It is not necessary that the above order/ sequence are maintained in the question paper.
  • The Medium of RMCAAT will be English.
