For candidates from General, General (EWS) and OBC categories, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2023. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1997 are eligible.
In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates and Physically challenged candidates, upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.07.2023. That is SC/ST and Physicallly challenged candidates born on or after July 01, 1995 are eligible
Eligibility requirements -
A candidate should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational Board. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2023 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2023.

Upload legible scanned images of: (i) a recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background; (ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb); (iii) Category Certificate (file size 50 kb-300 kb), if applicable; (iv) PwD Certificate (file size 50 kb-300 kb), if applicable.

NCHM JEE 2023 Syllabus:-
Question paper will be available in both English as well as Hindi. There is no prescribed syllabus for the exam. The exam is conducted to judge the capability of the aspirants. Questions will be asked on the basics of hospitality service, Logical reasoning and general awareness. Aspirants need to work on the language sector i.e. English. English section will include grammar, comprehension passages, synonyms, antonyms and many more.

Type - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
The medium of Question Paper shall be in English & Hindi only.
Duration - Three hours

Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude - 30 Qs
Reasoning and Logical Deduction - 30 Qs
General Knowledge & Current Affairs - 30 Qs
English Language - 60 Qs
Aptitude for Service Sector - 50 Qs
Total - 200 Qs
Each question carries four (04) marks. One (01) mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
After having a glance at the exam’s paper pattern and syllabus, it looks quite easier to the kind of questions that will be asked in the exam. But cracking NCHM-JEE has never been easy as it is one of the important hotel management’s aptitude tests in India. Although, there is no prescribed syllabus for the exam but solving previous years’ papers will surely make your each section strong. Read English passages and grammar as these exercises will surely improve your reading and communication skills. Try to keep constant touch with current affairs by reading newspapers daily.
