National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) for admission to MD/MS and post graduate diploma courses. This exam is conducted for admission to 50 percent quota of MD/MS diploma courses all over the country is applicable to all medical colleges and institutions across India. As per existing rules medical colleges and institutes are not permitted to conduct post graduate competitive exams in medicine.The exception to this is the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. As such students who have passed MBBS examination from any of the institutions in these two states are not eligible to participate in this competitive entrance exam.
NBE AIPGMEE 2017 Eligibility:-
1. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
2. A candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college (Appendix-III) or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.
How to Apply for NBE AIPGMEE 2017:-
Kindly purchase composite Information Bulletin-cum-Examination Fee Voucher (PGETVouchers) from the selected branches of Axis Bank on payment of
• Rs. 2750/- (For SC/ST/PWD candidates)
• Rs. 3750/- (For General/OBC candidates)
a)You are required to apply on website www.nbe.gov.in/AIPGMEE
b)Make sure you have a valid email ID during the entire process of registration.
c)Scratch the panel on voucher for unique registration number.
d) You have to enter this number during online registration process as well as during selection.
e)You are required to select date, time and center for the exam. (Kindly note that exam center once selected cannot be changed).
Admit Card: After successful completion of application your admit card cum registration slip will be mailed to your registered e-mail ID. You are required to affix passport sized photograph on the admit card.

NBE AIPGMEE 2017 Syllabus:-
The syllabus for the test shall comprise of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior permission of the government of India.
NBE AIPGMEE 2017 Paper Pattern:-
•The examination shall consists of multiple choice questions delivered using computer network.
•The test comprises of 300 Multiple choice questions, single correct response questions in English language only.
•The weightage of MCQ’s in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter/vary/amend the same.
Negative marking: There is no negative marking for the exam

NBE AIPGMEE Preparation -
