Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU's) School of Computer and System Sciences offers programmes of instruction and research leading to degree of MCA, M.Tech.(M.Phil.) and Ph.D. For admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) course the department directs JNU MCA Entrance Test. Every year, around ten thousand students including students from neighbouring SAARC countries appear for JNU MCA and M.Tech Entrance Test. Students are admitted solely on the basis of performance in the written test.
JNU MCA course description: This three year programme is designed to provide necessary theoretical background and practical experience in Computer Science and Applications to meet the growing manpower requirements in automatic computing. The popularity of JNU MCA program can be judged from the excellent (100%) placement of successful students in the best companies in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
In addition to this, scholarships are awarded during the fifth and sixth semester to students who have met the prescribed grades/course requirements.
Eligibility for JNU MCA Entrance 2021:
BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree with at least 55% marks
OR
B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level with at least 55% marks.

Apply online at website - https://jnuexams.nta.ac.in from 27.07.2021 to 31.08.2021 ( upto 5.00 pm)
Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10 kb - 200 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format
Pay fee using SBI/Canara Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.

The JNU MCA Entrance syllabus shall consists of 10+2/Graduate Level Mathematics, Probability, General Aptitude and Reasoning.
JNU MCA Entrance 2021 Paper Pattern:
Mode- LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test)
Duration - 3 Hours
Type - Multiple Choice Question
Number of Questions - 100
Marks per question - 1 (one) for each correct response
Scoring - No negative marking for incorrect response
Medium of Paper - English only (Language courses may have exception).
