AIPGDEE/AIPG Dental Entrance Exam is a national online (computer based entrance test) directed by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi for admission to Ministry of Health & FW/DCI recognized/approved/permitted seats of dental colleges for various postgraduate courses (MDS). This entrance exam follows the rules and regulations putfoward by the Government of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Eligibility for AIPGDEE 2017:-
a) Nationality: Indian national/Person of Indian Origin/Overseas Citizen of India card holders.
b) Educational Qualification: BDS degree from a dental college recognized by the Government of India under the Dentists Act 1948.
c) Registration: Provisional or Permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils after passing the final BDS examination.
d) Internship: Completed (12 months) one year of compulsory rotating internship in approved or recognized dental colleges.

Admission and Reservation:-
An All India merit list and State wise merit list of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam and candidates shall be admitted to Dental MDS courses from the said lists only by following the already existing Reservation Policies.
AIPGDEE/AIPG Dental Entrance Exam 2017 Registration/Application Form:-
- Apply online on www.aiimsexams.org
- The application fee for AIPGDEE for is Rs 1000/- for General and OBC category candidates (Rs. 800 for SC/ST category candidates) + Transaction charges as application.
- Payment of application fee for AIPG Dental Entrance Exam 2015 can be done through Computer generated challan of State Bank of India or online through credit or debit card.
- Application form/Registration Slip complete in all respects should be submitted online and NOT to be sent to Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110 029.
AIPGDEE/AIPG Dental Entrance Exam 2017 Admit Card:-
•Downloadable admit cards for AIPGDEE 2017 will be posted on www.aiimsexams.org. Candidates who have successful completed registration for AIPG Dental Entrance Exam will be issued the same. No admit card will be sent by post.
•No candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Hall/Venue by personal appearance without valid Admit Card in original.
•Candidates are advised to preserve the Admit Card till allotment of seat in College/Institute. Duplicate Admit Card will not be issued after the examination.

AIPGDEE/AIPG Dental Entrance Exam 2017 Syllabus:-
The syllabus for All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam for admission to the MDS courses shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all the subjects/syllabus taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time.
AIPGDEE 2017 Pattern:-
•AIPGDEE/AIPG Dental Entrance Exam is a online test of only one paper of 3 hours duration (10:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M.) containing 200 MCQs consisting of Basic Sciences, Para- Clinical and Clinical subjects.
•The questions will be single answer objective type.
•Each answer with correct answer shall be awarded four marks.
•One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
•Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered.
•More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect answer and will be negatively marked.
