Given below are AIIMS 2020 exam dates, application form and prospectus for MBBS. All India Institute of Medical Sciences directs AIIMS MBBS Examination for the best students to gain admission into AIIMS for MBBS course. Students have to secure very high marks in this entrance test to be considered for admission. This institution of national importance is invariably judged as the benchmark for medical studies in India. The degrees and diplomas awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized as medical qualifications by the Indian Medical Council (IMC).
 
 
Admission to MBBS course in AIIMS will be made through NEET UG.
 
 
 
All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi conducts Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS course at AIIMS, New Delhi and Eight other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) & Nagpur (Maharashtra).
 
This is the toughest medical examination in the country which is seemingly impossible to clear at a single attempt. As many as lakhs of applicants appear for this exam in spite of the fact that only the best hundred students earn seats for admission in AIIMS.
 
AIIMS MBBS 2020 Eligibility:
 
Age:- Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission (2020). Candidates born on or after 2nd January, 2002 are NOT eligible to apply.
 
Qualification - Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared in 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates) in aggregate.

UPLOADING OF PHOTOGRAPH/ SIGNATURE/ THUMB IMPRESSION -
 
 
PHOTOGRAPH -
 
Photo has been taken against a white background without a border and clearly shows your face, eyes and both ears.
 
The photograph is of standard passport size (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm, width X height)
 
The photograph is recent (within 6 months of online application).
 
Size of the image is between 50-100 kb.
 
Image is in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png format.
 
 
SIGNATURE - 
 
 
Draw a box of 6 cm x 3 cm (Width*height) on a white paper sheet with a pencil
 
Set the scanner to 200 dpi and scan only the box with signature (DO NOT scan the whole sheet)
 
Image size is between 20 to 100 Kb. 3
 
Image is in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png format.
 
 
THUMB IMPRESSION -
 
Draw a box of 4 cm x 3 cm (width x height) on a white sheet of paper (you may draw more than 1 box to take multiple thumb print and select the best).
 
Use a fresh blue/black colour ink pad.
 
Gently press your LEFT THUMB against the ink pad and take a horizontal print of your left thumb within the box. Do not press too much or wriggle as it may lead to smudging of print. Preferably take impressions of thumb in more than box

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Syllabus:
 
The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. No syllabus has been prescribed by the Institute for the examination.
 

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Pattern:

The Exam will be of 3½ hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason- assertion type) questions from subjects of  Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.
 
Subject - Number of Questions
 
•Physics - 60 questions
•Chemistry - 60 questions
•Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions
•General Knowledge -  20 questions
 
Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice marked during application. 
 
Marking Scheme:-
 
•Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).
•Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
•No credit will be given for the questions not answered.
•More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked.


• Keep revising your basic concepts as they play a major role to solve AIIMS paper.
• Start practicing a lot of assertion-reasoning questions because they are the most important subjects which make the         difference.
• Solve previous year papers to understand the pattern and level of questions.
• Take at least 4 to 5 mock tests to build up your confidence.

as far as I know outside delhi students have to pay lump-sum 1000 Rs. The rest is sustained by government. lump sum 300 rs. by delhi domicile candidates.

no specific syllabus has been prescribed but ya basics i.e. ncert of class 11 and 12 is must with gk + practice previous year papers and mock tests as solving the questions will gonna help you. All the best.
