    Thapar University Distance Education offers Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering course. It is three years duration course and comprises of six semesters. Complete details of eligibility criteria and admission procedure for this course are given below. Fees for this programme is Rs. 27,500/- per semester and student have to pay Rs 6,500/- at the time of admission.


    Normal Duration:-     03 Years
    Maximum Duration:- 06 Years


    Eligibility:    - 10+2 in Science
    Experience : Minimum two years in any organisation / industry.


    Qualification     : Minimum 3 years Diploma in relevant area of Engineering or equivalent. For B. Tech Computer Science & Engineering Candidates having B. Sc(Computer Science/information Technology)/BCA or equivalent.
    Experience : Minimum two years in any organisation / industry.


    Or

    Qualification : Minimum 3 years Diploma after 10th/21/2year diploma after 10+2 in any discipline of Engineering or Equivalent.
    Experience : Minimum of three years relevant experience in the organisation / industry in the area in which candidate is seeking the admission.


    Admission:    - All seats will be filled Exclusively on the basis of  merit in Entrance Test of eligible candidates under each category.
