Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University PSSOU Bilaspur is a public university offering distance education in the state of Chhatisgarh. Affiliated to the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Distance Education Council (DEC) PSSOU offers graduate and post graduate programmes in faculties of arts, science & technology, social science, commerce, education, computer science and applied arts . The university also offers certificates and diploma programmes for distance learners. PSSOU Open and Distance Learning mode combines self study, personal contact programmes and counselling. Admission is conducted twice a year for calender year (Jan to Dec) and academic year (June to July).
