    Post Graduate Diploma in Radio Programme Production offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is two years duration course. Candidates having graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for this course.


    Eligibility:-

    A person holding Bachelor's Degree in any subject is eligible for enrolment in PGDAPP programme. There is no age bar for learners keeping in view of the IGNOU philosophy of democratization of education.

    • Bachelor's Degree holders in any subject who want to develop skills in broadcasting to work as radio programmers, presenters and producers;
    • Professionals working in All India Radio and private production houses who want to acquire theoretical knowledge of the subject to upgrade their skills;
    • Students of Journalism and Mass Communication who would like to specialise in radio production;
    • Teachers keen in knowledge-enrichment; and
    • Staff and faculty of the institutions who want to set up their own radio stations.

    Duration: Min. 1 year; Max. 4 years

    Medium of Instruction: English and Hindi. The print materials as well as the audio and video programmes are in both English and Hindi. Assignments, scripts and term-end examination can also be written in any one of these languages.
