IGNOU Distance M.Phil Computer Science




  • Description:-

    Master of Philosophy in Computer Science offered by IGNOU Indira Gandhi National Open University is one and a half year duration course.
     

    Duration:- 18 Months

    Eligibility:-

    (i) Masters degree (MCA/MS/M.SC) in Computer Science/IT/ Computer Applications, with minimum of 55%*,

    (ii) M.Tech (Computer Science / IT) with minimum of 55%*,

                                              OR

    (iii) B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) with minimum of 70%* and 2 years Professional experience in Teaching/ Software Development.

    Entrance Test:-

    All candidates except belonging to the category mentioned below are required to appear in an entrance test to get admission to the programme.

    A candidate who has qualified NET examination of UGC and has atleast one year of teaching experience of having taught computer science/ IT courses in a college or a University, may be allowed admission to the programme without entrance test.
