Bharati Vidyapeeth is known for its innovative system of learning, network of academic study centers and personal contact programs. Approved by the Distance Education Council (DEC) and University Grants Commission (UGC) the university offers courses in arts, commerce, social science, management studies and law. The university thumbs significant importance to personal contact programmes and seminars that are conducted on weekends and public holidays. Generally 40 to 45 hours are devoted towards contact sessions during  an academic term of degree programmes For diploma programmes, minimum one seminar is organised during each term.Admission is conducted twice a year ie. Calender year (January to December) and Academic Year ( July to June).
