Founded in the year 2007, Zeal College of Engineering & Research (ZCOER) symbolized the beginning of new era in technical education. Institute aims to contribute to society through the pursuit of education and research and also provide individual attention for character building to make students enlightened. The college offers UG engineering degree courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication  and Mechanical Engineering and PG courses in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Power System), Electronics & Telecommunication (VLSI and Embedded System), Mechanical Engineering (ME Design / CADEM) and Master of Business Administration. The institute is also granted as PhD research center in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication and Mechanical Engineering under SavitribaiPhule Pune University, Pune (SPPU).

The admissions to the UG and PG courses start soon after the results of H.S.C. and the final year Graduation are declared.

The college fallows the University guidelines and the procedures. There are no management quota admissions. 
 
Admissions to all courses are given on the basis of merit of their previous qualifying examination.
