Vignan Pharmacy College is established in the year 2006 by Dr. L. Rattaiah, a visionary director under Lavu educational society and officiated by Dr. P. Srinivasa Babu as principal. The college is approved by AICTE, PCI and affiliated to JNTUK-Kakinada.
VPC has been striving to promote high standards in technical education to aid in the career building of the many students who step into its portals.
Admissions are conducted in a systematic manner by means of web counseling based on the rank by convener EAMCET. Thus opportunity is given to the student to choose the course and college. 70% of seats are filled through the EAMCET rank and 30% seats are filled by the management based on the merit at Intermediate (with minimum 45% of marks).
The students are given ranking based on the marks obtained in the test and percentage of marks at intermediate level or 10 + 2 level.
The campus is ideal for creativity and serious academics. It includes all the modern facilities that helps student to be in a perfect study environment. College provides huge Wi-Fi enabled campus, well designed, fully equipped, modern and spacious classrooms, IT centre, labs, library, cafeteria, students clubs, separate hostels for girls and boys with ventilated & air-conditioned with attached bathrooms, etc.
Institute has glowing and customary placement cell supervised by placement and training coordinators and committees of students. The unit is dedicated to advice students on career options and for providing the latest information on summer training opportunities and employment vacancies.
