Promoted in the year 1947, VP & RPTP Science College is one of the oldest Science colleges in Gujarat and is managed by CharutarVidyaMandal. College is affiliated to Sardar Patel University and aims to create and nourish a stimulating learning environment that ensures a globally relevant education, based on eternal human values.

Students will be admitted on the basis of entrance exams valid scores for various PG programmes.

College is spread over a huge area with spacious and well ventilated classrooms, fully Equipped Laboratories, Computer Center with internet facility, a separate Library Building which has a Reading Room with internet connectivity.The college also has a huge Central Hall with a capacity of 1500 students and boasts a beautiful garden in its campus. There is a separate Canteen and hostel in the college campus.
