Sydenham Institute of Management Studies and  Research is a well known business school in India that is known for providing quality education and skills, knowledge and right attitude of the students to meet the expectation in the field of business management. Sydenham Institute was founded in the year 1983 by the Government of India. Since its inception, the college has generated some highly qualified professionals in the industry. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is accredited by A.I.C.T.E.

The college offers two years full time Master course of MMS (Master of Management Studies) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management studies. This is the only fully autonomous management programme offered by the Government of Maharashtra.


Admissions:

The student has to appear for CMAT conducted by AICTE.
Apply to Admission process of DTE along with roll no of CMAT.
DTE will conduct Document verification followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
On the basis of Percentile of Normalized score of CMAT ( best of two normalized score  ) + GDPI + PAR Excellence + Work experience marks Admission's will be done by DTE on merit in CAP rounds.

Eligibility :-

Graduate with minimum 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% in case of candidates domiciled in Maharashtra and belonging to the Reserved Categories ) or appeared at an examination considered equivalent thereto would be treated as eligible for Common Entrance Test (MHCET). Final year students can also apply for MHCET.

Note : The term 'aggregate marks' used here means the grand total marks obtained by the candidate, taken together for all the subjects, based on which the class declaration is made in that particular University where the candidate is seeking admission.



Facilities:

Sydenham Institute of Management Studies and  Research is located in the high-class vicinity of Mumbai i.e. Churchgate. The institute has a computer lab and a systems lab with high speed internet connectivity. Institute has Wi-Fi in its campus. The library has a collection of about 10500 books on a variety of subjects of interest to the management field. It also subscribes to 32 national and international journals and magazines. The institute also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
