Established in the year 2009, Shiva Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bilaspur is one of the coeducational engineering colleges and offers undergraduate, postgraduate and polytechnic courses. It aims to develop the patterns of teaching and to strengthen research and encourage institutions- public or private- to engage in expansion of the frontiers of knowledge.

The admission to the first 50% of the seats shall be made on the basis of merit/rank/score obtained in JEE (Main). The remaining 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET.
 
In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of JEE (Main) and HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized Board or University.
