School of Planning and Architecture is an architectural institute that was established in the year 1959. Initially, it was started in 1941 as the Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic and later it was renamed to its current name in 1959. The college has been awarded with the status of a deemed university. It is affiliated to the University of Delhi.
The institute is known for offering quality education to those students who want to become an architect in their future. It offers five years full time undergraduate course of B. Arch through its architect program. Being a deemed university, it also stresses on M. Arch and Doctoral level program.
