School of Architecture & Planning is one of the most dynamic and important part of BBD University. The School has a reputation of being the best B. Arch College in Lucknow and was started in the year 1999. The 5-year Degree Course in Architecture is affiliated from BabuBanarasi Das University, Lucknow and the Council of Architecture. Currently the University runs its full time academic courses and awardsdegrees at both Graduate (Bachelors of Architecture) as well as Post Graduate Level (Masters of Architecture).

Applicants can fill the admission form through online procedure. Below is the eligibility required for the admission:
 
Candidate should pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi (or) a pass in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main - Paper II (B.Arch.) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
 
It must be passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate at the end of new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or Equivalent, with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level from a recognized central/state board.

Students of Architecture undergo Professional Training as part of their curriculum for 32 Weeks and hence are able to place themselves suitably due to the exposure already gained in India or abroad. The nature of professional practice is such that most of the placements are done by informal interviews. The students are placed in some of the reputed offices and institutions in India and Abroad.
