Padmabhushan Dr. Vasantdada Patil College of Architecture in Pune is managed by the Vivekanand Institute of Technology, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act 1995. The institute was established in the year 1955 and is affiliated to the University of Pune and is recognized by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and the Director, Technical education, Government of Maharashtra.

The college offers five years full time course of B.Arch with the total intake capacity of 40 students.


Admissions:

The candidate should have passed the HSC Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or it's equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject and should have secured min 50% aggregate marks at the said examination, OR passed the Diploma in Engineering under 10 + 3 scheme of State board of Technical Examinations and secured min 50% aggregate marks and hold a valid score at the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture for the Academic year 2010-11.

Fee structure :-

The fee structure approved for the Academic Year 2009-10 will be Rs.60,000/-.The fee structure for the Academic Year 2010-1011 will be Rs. 66,000/- or as finalized by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti set up by the Government of Maharastra. Further details regarding the same can be obtained at the Administrative office of the Institute.

The institute is well equipped with all the modern facilities. It has well maintained book library, computer lab with high speed internet connectivity. The campus is well accorded with the modern facilities that include air conditioned class rooms with LCD projections, well furnished canteen that provides foods at nominal rates.
